We are looking forward to welcoming you to our riverside studio in Perthshire.

The realisation of a lifelong dream, Roberts & Rose School of Clothcraft & Stitchery has something for everyone, from beginners to more experienced sewists. We offer a variety of sewing courses and classes to suit differing tastes, and abilities. Please check our current classes here. 

If you would prefer to work on your own projects in a supportive atmosphere, feel free to book one of our regular "Sew with the flow" sessions. 

Alternatively, for our undivided attention, we also offer private tuition and "Sew solo" sessions - please get in touch to enquire about these.

Please note that where the class timings mention Edinburgh and London, this is purely referring to World Time Zones. We are based in Perth.

Sewing machines:

You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine, but if you prefer to leave it at home, we have a carefully chosen selection of sewing machines available for you to use.

Spring 2025

Do keep checking the website, as I try to act on people's requests to add sessions for a variety of porjects. If you haven't already signed up to recieve newsletters, this is a good way to find out about developments. (We're not one of those companies that emails daily - only when there's something to tell you!). 

The "Sew With The Flow" sessions and "Sew Solo" sessions will of course continue, and as always I never have more than eight in a group so that you all get a good level of attention.

Naturally, there are a few points to be aware of:

• All classes will require a booking made in advance.
• You are welcome to bring your own sewing equipment and/or sewing machine, or feel free to use ours.
• Tea and coffee will be available and you are welcome to use ours, or to bring your own if you feel more comfortable doing so. You are also welcome to bring your own mug if you prefer.
• Toilets are available, but please be aware that they are shared with others in the building, so we cannot take responsibility for cleaning/sanitising after every use.
• At the time of booking, some contact details will be required. These will be retained for a short period in order to be able to contact you if necessary. 
• Please do not attend a class if you are unwell.
• In the event of you having to cancel a booking, or us having to cancel a class, we will make every effort to offer an alternative date,. Please refer to our terms and conditions on the contact page regarding cancellations at short notice.

We hope that these measures will provide reassurance and that you will be able to enjoy your classes with confidence. Thank you all so much for your valued support xx
